Summary Description

Built in the Early English Gothic style in 1879 to seat 300, it consisted of a spiral belfry, nave, north transept, south porch and chancel. Local planners and DAC architects believe the porch was added at a later date (or dramatically altered) owing to different brickwork and is not original to the building. The inside of the church is now substantially different and bears little resemblance to how it was built in 1879.
