Summary Description

The church is listed Grade I with access off the Ladywood Road, the church is set within a churchyard. Large extensions to burial ground have been added to the north. Much of the ancient work and the church’s delightful character are on the south side. The fabric of the church is constructed from granular sandstone verging on gritstone. The stonework, windows and doorways date from the 14th, 15th and 19th century at which point the church was subject to Victorian Restoration. There is an ancient tower and stone carvings dating back to the 12th century.
