Summary Description

The village church of St Swithun is of Romanesque origins but was largely rebuilt between 1870 and 1880 so the majority of the church is now Victorian. The Lady Chapel was added in the early 20th century. The church building consists of a nave and chancel, with north and south aisles and transepts.
