Summary Description

The chapel is divided from the church by a three-bay arcade of moulded arches carried on pillars with semi-polygonal shafts in the cardinal directions and round shafts between. The east and west walls have blind windows in the Perpendicular style with four transomed lights which probably date from 1881. The nave is Norman in origin but the west tower and most of the nave windows are now Perpendicular, as is the east window of the chancel. The north chapel was added in 1881 to balance that on the south.
