Summary Description

The fabric of the church is essentially Norman, though there is little indication of this from the exterior of the building. The dominant Norman feature is the chancel arch. The masonry of the fabric clearly indicates the later date of tower and chancel and much rebuilding must have taken place in the 14th and 15th centuries.
