Summary Description

The Collegiate Church of St Peter and St Paul was founded in 1431 by Sir Reginald Cobham. There were preceding churches dating back to late Saxon times but the present fabric has obliterated its antecedents. The fabric remains largely as its 15th century foundation. The most significant interventions have been the 19th century. It is a remarkably comprehensive example of the perpendicular style as filtered down to parish churches.

Visiting and Facilities

The church is open for worship.
