Summary Description

Built 1932-5 by W. D. Caroe, his final church, paid for by H. M. Butler of Kirkstall Forge to serve the new housing estate of Hawksworth Wood. Most unusually for Yorkshire, it is faced in knapped flint. Reordered in 1972 by Alban Caroe, moving the altar west and the font from the north west baptistry to the west wall.
