Title: Sulphate Investigation - St.Cuthbert’s Church
Description: The works were undertaken in order to identify the make-up of the chancel floor sub base and ground floor slab, and if necessary, the levels of sulphate present in the fill material at representative locations within the footprint of the property. Conclusions - DPM was identified between the slab and the fill material. The fill material was slightly damp, but considered to be at an acceptable level. The level of sulphate identified within the screed/levelling compound making up the main floor location is considered to be slightly elevated for a standard OPC containing concrete, however, the visual inspection suggests that the material is not typical concrete. The level of sulphate identified within the concrete making up the raised floor location is considered to be at a level generally expected of an OPC containing concrete.
