Summary Description

The church is simple but charming in its rural setting. Built in 1888 of slate rubble walls with stone dressings and a glazed porch. There is a stunted feature on the roof and this apparently is the remains of a slated spire. There is one small stained glass window, in the apsidal east end, of Christ on the Cross, by Charles Kempe which has his characteristic small wheatsheaf symbol in the bottom left corner. The building has recently been restored.
