Summary Description

The church was consecrated in July 1955 to serve a new housing estate. It replaced a former mission church within the parish. A building of limited significance to those outside the parish. Built of red brick with a slate roof it is a very simple building although there is a copper clad bell turret. A single Nave and Chancel with a balcony. The orientation is unusual with the Sanctuary and Altar at the south end.
