Summary Description

The mediaeval church here was rebuilt by Thomas Erle Drax in 1775, as an inscription on the west gable records. In 1837, as a tablet inside the church records, the building was remodelled by John Sawbridge Erle Drax who put on a new roof, installed new glass and filled the church with fittings incorporating many continental wood carvings.
