Summary Description

Originally the church seems to have had an aisleless nave, and a chancel of the same width as the existing one but shorter. The north arcade and aisle were built c.1310-20 and, shortly afterwards, the south chancel chapel was added (and the chancel arch rebuilt at the same time). The tower arch is also 14th century, though the tower itself is late 15th century. In the 19th century considerable changes were made.
